We are not simply an organization. We are a movement.

Our journey started in 2005 when we came to know the state of education in India, particularly for underprivileged areas and people. Because education is not offered equally, a large number of students who are not financially well supported drop out at the secondary and higher secondary levels. Sometimes, it is caused by a lack of resources or understanding of the importance of education.

This reality gave birth to the “Be Educated Movement” in 2005 with the aim of improving education in these communities by providing study materials and encouragement. We started “Education Through Library” and opened several low-cost libraries in remote areas of India, Pakistan and Nepal. We opened our first library in a village of Rai Bareilly district of state of Uttar Pradesh, India, in mid-2005.

Since then we have helped over 15,000 students in three countries.

Gradually, we introduced more focused programs such as “Future Girlz,” which helps to educate female students, and “Home for Angels” that provides shelter and learning for orphaned children..

This year (2020), we are starting another program to develop the entrepreneurial skills for older students.
