We are not simply an organization, but rather a Movement.
Our journey started in 2005, when we came to know the state of education in India, particularly when it comes to underprivileged areas and people. Since the education is not being carried out earnestly, a large number of students who are not financially well supported, dropped out of education system at secondary and higher secondary. Sometimes, it may be caused by lack of resources, or lack of understanding of the importance of education.
This cognizance gave birth to “Be Educated Movement” in 2005 with aim of making a difference through good education by providing study materials and encouragement. We started “Education Through Library” and opened several low cost libraries in remote areas of India, Pakistan and Nepal. We have helped over 15000 students till 2019. We opened our first library in a village of Rai Bareilly district of state of Uttar Pradesh India in mid of 2005.
Gradually, we started more focused programs such as “Future Girlz” to help the girl students, and “Home for Angels” to help orphaned students. This year (2020), we are starting another program to develop the entrepreneurial skills among the students.
