|
Dover Cultural Exchange along with The Be Educated Movement Inc. celebrated its second annual fund raiser event at Dover Art League, Dover, Delaware on Apr 25, 2009. The event's theme, "The Power of ONE" was about the capacity of one person to change the life of a child through education and the power of one child to potentially change the whole world. Even during this difficult economic condition, the local community and businesses turned out to make this great cause a grand success. It surpassed the last’s year record fund raising.
Dover Sam’s club, CNT infotech, Delasoft Inc and T.P. Indira (Internal Medicine) were the key sponsors of this event. Many people and businesses helped us by buying advertisement spaces in our event booklet, ‘The Power of ONE – 2009’ which was released during the event.
About 150 guests graced the occassion.
